About Us

Your Health Is Our Passion

Marc established Free Body Physical Therapy in 2015 with the intention of breaking the mold of standard physical therapy practices. At Free Body Physical Therapy, your body is treated with individuality and care. No two bodies respond to an injury the same way, and that’s why no two therapy programs should be the same. Free Body Physical Therapy was founded to get you back to your best self. Let’s work together to reach your goals!

Dr. Vanessa Schuster

Dr. Vanessa Schuster

Dr. Vanessa Schuster, PT, DPT graduated with her B.S. in Exercise Science and her Clinical Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University.  Upon graduation she was adjunct professor teaching Anatomy I & II as well as Examination & Intervention. She was recently accepted into an orthopedic residency program at Northwestern University which begins Summer of 2021.

Her continuing education courses focus on reintegrating movement and graded exposure. Her focus is on individualizing the physical therapy experience and meeting someone wherever he or she may be in the recovery process. This translates into a personalized care approach with a focus on whatever is most important to the patient. Vanessa chose to pursue a career in physical therapy because of the unique way that  a physical therapist can help somebody recover from injury. She enjoys combining the pieces of the human puzzle to get to the root of the problem, while also getting to know the person. Her belief is that the individual behind the ailment strongly affects how he or she recovers.

Vanessa is dedicated to improving her already excellent patient care.  At Free Body Physical Therapy, she is looking to advance her knowledge of manual therapy with Dr Guillen who is fellowship trained in manual therapy. Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys working out, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their German Shepherd, Brutus.
