Your Health Is Our Passion
Marc established Free Body Physical Therapy in 2015 with the intention of breaking the mold of standard physical therapy practices. At Free Body Physical Therapy, your body is treated with individuality and care. No two bodies respond to an injury the same way, and that’s why no two therapy programs should be the same. Free Body Physical Therapy was founded to get you back to your best self. Let’s work together to reach your goals!

Dr. Michal Czesny
PT, DPT
Dr. Michal Czesny, PT, DPT attended Northwestern University in downtown Chicago for his Doctorate in Physical Therapy after receiving his bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Loyola University-Chicago.
Michal has experience treating a range of both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions in addition to managing post-operative rehabilitation and care.
As a clinician, Michal prides himself on using a combination of education, exercise, and manual therapy to create a safe, fun environment for patients to meet their various goals and become as independent as possible.
He enjoys taking time to keep up with research so that he can provide the most relevant information to his patients so they can make the best decisions for themselves with their care.
Michal played soccer competitively from a young age through college and is eager to funnel that same competitive energy into getting his patients better and faster with the one-to-one model that Free Body Physical Therapy provides.
For Michal, successful treatment is not just by improving pain or function but by showing patients how they keep themselves well, too.
This Wisconsinite has been living in Chicago for the last 10 years and is ecstatic to start serving the community he now calls home.
When he is not thinking about physical therapy, Michal enjoys spending time with his partner and dog, playing board games like Settlers of Catan, some casual computer gaming, and cast iron cooking.
As an Arsenal FC fan who bleeds white and red, don’t be surprised if you find Michal at a pub on match day at 6 in the morning supporting his club!
